Terms of Service

Last updated 29 August 2026

These terms cover your use of rivit (rivit.app), a bill-processing service for building and trades businesses. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

What rivit does

rivit turns supplier bills you upload or email into extracted, cost-coded records, and — with your approval — creates them in the accounting systems you connect (such as Xero or JobTread). Extraction and coding suggestions are produced with the help of AI and are suggestions: you review and approve every bill before anything is written to your books.

Your responsibilities

Early-access service

rivit is in active development and provided on an early-access basis. We work hard to keep it reliable, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features as it evolves, and will communicate meaningful changes.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose statutory guarantees are not excluded), rivit's liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

Your data

Your data stays yours. How we collect and handle it is set out in the Privacy Policy. If you close your account, we'll delete your data on request.

Ending things

You can stop using rivit and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
